Delete Your Account & Data

This page explains how patients using the Teliyadu OralOS patient mobile app can request deletion of their account and associated personal data. It applies to the patient app published by Teliyadu OralOS on Google Play and Apple App Store.
How to request deletion
You do not need to sign in to make a request. Send us an email and we will action it with your clinic:
- Email support@teliyadu.com from any address.
- Use the subject line "Account Deletion Request".
- Tell us the name of your clinic and the phone number you use to log in, so we can locate the correct record.
If you prefer, you may also ask your clinic's front desk to submit the request on your behalf.
Who controls your data
Each clinic is the controller of its own patients' records, and Teliyadu OralOS operates the software on the clinic's behalf. When you ask us to delete your data, we coordinate the deletion with your clinic and confirm once it is complete.
What is deleted
On a confirmed request, we delete the personal data tied to your mobile app account, including:
- Your patient app login and credentials (phone number, password).
- Push notification tokens registered to your devices.
- In-app preferences and any locally cached copies of your data on the device (also removed when you log out or uninstall the app).
- Your personal profile details (name, contact details) held for the app, unless we are legally required to retain them (see below).
What we may retain, and why
Some records cannot be deleted immediately because clinics are legally required to keep them. We retain the minimum necessary, for the minimum period required by law, and delete or anonymize it afterwards:
- Dental and medical treatment records — retained for the period required by your country's medical record-keeping laws.
- Invoices, payments, and other financial records — retained as required by tax and accounting law.
- Records we must keep to comply with a legal obligation, resolve disputes, or enforce our agreements.
Retained records are access-controlled and are not used for marketing. Where possible, we anonymize data so it can no longer be linked to you.
Timeline
We aim to acknowledge every request within 48 hours and to complete the deletion within 30 days. If retention law requires us to keep certain records longer, we will tell you which categories and for how long.
Deleting from within the app
You can sign out of the app at any time, which removes your session and locally stored data from that device. A self-service "Delete my account" option inside the app is on our roadmap; until then, please use the email process above.
